Job Description Job Description Salary: Skills/Responsibilities: Review project contract documents to ensure proper revenue recognition Setup and maintain projects in ERP system Process change orders and adjustments to forecasts Track projects against budget and forecasts Prepare and issue contract billing; along with monthly cost accruals Perform project related P&L and Balance sheet reconciliations Coordinate weekly project meetings with Project Managers to review and update project financial Analyze project data for financial reporting and hold job related meetings All draw preparation, including all supplemental documentation required Assist to manage contractor and subcontractor waivers and payments Assist to manage all weekly accounts payable/accounts receivable activities related to the various construction projects Monitor and review monthly receivables/payables along with construction loans for accuracy, adjustments, and/or corrections Manage Notices to Owners per project, monthly Respond to accounting inquiries, dispute invoices when needed, set up accounts and/or close out temp utilities, and assist Project Managers with any other requests Manage project financial closeouts by ensuring all subs are invoiced 100%, and that closeout documents have been received prior to issuing final payment Assist controller with financial close, including but not limited to assisting with budget reconciliation, bank reconciliations, various journal entries, etc. Background / Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred 7 years experience of Project Accounting Skills with project budgeting, project costs and US GAAP ERP system experience Strong Excel skills Attention to detail and capability to analyze financial data Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and utilize critical thinking skills Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Team Player with the ability to coordinate and lead both internal and vendor team members
