seeking a Tax Manager for a growing and dynamic Public Accounting
Firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a strategic leadership
opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking to move beyond
preparation into high-level engagement management. You will be
responsible for overseeing complex tax workflows across a diverse
portfolio of entities, including corporations, partnerships, and
high-net-worth individuals. As a core mentor to the junior staff,
you will drive technical excellence and provide expert advisory
services directly to clients. This role offers a perfect balance of
professional challenge and modern flexibility through a stable
hybrid work model. Job Responsibilities Engagement Management:
Oversee and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously,
ensuring all federal and state deadlines are met with precision.
Technical Review: Conduct high-level reviews of staff-prepared
returns for a variety of entities, including 1065, 1120, 1120S,
990, 1040, and 1041 . Client Advisory: Serve as the primary point
of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on tax planning,
information gathering, and regulatory compliance. Staff
Development: Review staff work and provide actionable, constructive
feedback to mentor junior accountants and support their technical
growth. Complex Research: Research and resolve sophisticated tax
issues and multi-state filing requirements with confidence and
accuracy. Regulatory Compliance: Stay at the forefront of changing
tax laws and TCJA updates to ensure the firm and its clients remain
fully compliant. Requirements Education & Licensing Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting or Finance is REQUIRED. CPA License is
preferred (or demonstrated progress toward completion). Master’s in
Taxation (MST) is a significant advantage. Experience Minimum of
four (4) or more years of Public Accounting experience is REQUIRED.
Strong background in both the preparation and review of complex
federal and state tax returns. Proven experience managing multiple
client accounts in a fast-paced environment. Skills Technical
Mastery: Expert knowledge of various return types and tax software
platforms. Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the
ability to lead and inspire a collaborative team. Organization:
