This role is the face of Scan Design and the bridge between the client and the company. The Sales Design Consultant serves clients one on one, builds relationships, and creates beautiful projects, while providing excellent customer service at every step. This is a full-time, commissioned position with a guaranteed draw. The schedule is a 5 day workweek. Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. General ResponsibilitiesCreate design projectsSelect components from our collection to create a unique and purposeful space for each clientAssist clients with their design needs through solution focused presentations and sales Prepare sketches using Floor Planner software for client presentationSupport the client relationship through home visits to measure spaces, introduce options, and maximize projectManage the client experience from start to finishCreate and maintain positive and professional relationships both inside and outside the storeMaintain a professional appearance that is fitting of the environment in which we workRequirements:Previous experience in interior design or other related fieldsProven sales experienceFamiliarity with design software platforms preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, Bi-lingual a plusHigh school diploma required; college degree preferredValid driver's licenseOther Information:The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing.
