Quality Inspector role with you!As an Incoming Quality Inspector on
our team, you'll lead the way to excellence. You'll oversee the
receipt and initial quality inspection of inventory received at
Anton Paar QuantaTec. The Quality Inspector works with the Quality
Systems Department, reporting directly to Quality Manager to help
manage incoming inventory. The Contribution you'll make: Handling
all receiving, quality checking, labeling, and storing of incoming
inventoryComparing quantity and part number of items received with
procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness
and accuracy of orderInspecting purchased parts and materials for
conformance to specificationsExamining items for defects in
materials, work, and damage occurring in transit Inspecting and
measuring items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and
functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company
standards, and other specificationsDocumenting inspection results
by summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into SAP or
quality databaseProcessing returns to vendor RMA'sKeeping
measurement equipment up-to-date and in accordance to operating
instructions and calibration requirementsApproving or rejecting
items, and recording inspection and disposition informationWorking
with Logistics Manager to assure priorities and proper inventory
values are being maintainedPicking-up and/or dropping off parts and
materials to suppliers and vendors, as neededOccasionally lifting
up 50lbs.Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following
standards and procedures, and complying with the company's legal
regulationsFollowing company policies, procedures, and safety

with quality control techniques such as Six SigmaExperience with
measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and
other measuring instrumentsAbility to read blueprints and
schematicsAbility to work on multiple projects within the same
dayAbility to follow directions, work independently and with
minimal supervisionAbility to work with a flexible schedule and
demonstrates effective time managementStrong written and verbal
communication skillsBasic math and computer skillsAttention to
detail and good hand/eye coordinationDocumentation and reporting
skillsMust have a clean driver's licenseOther Skills and Education

Supervision Exercised This role is an independent contributor who
is a member of multiple teams and does not have any direct
supervision of staff.Physical Requirements & Working
ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this position, the
employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, observe,
communicate, and handle items such as computers, machinery, and
other equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up
