Instrumentation role!What We Do:Anton Paar QuantaTec manufactures
instruments for characterization of powders and porous materials
using techniques like physisorption, chemisorption, gas pycnometry,
mercury intrusion porosimetry, capillary flow porometry amongst
others.....pretty exciting, right?A Snapshot of What You'll Do: A
successful Product Specialist will combine their love of science
with customer facing programs. You'll need to be a self-starter who
has excellent technical skills, product knowledge, and engages with
inter-company teams to drive successful initiatives. The
Contribution You'll Make:Performing functional instrument tests
including software and firmware tests in close cooperation with
Product Development and Product EngineeringConducting technical and
applicative verification measurementsConducting technical and
applicative field test supportCreating technical customer
documents, such as: instruction manuals, PowerPoint presentations,
training materials, data sheetsAssisting with documents and
information relevant to sales: brochures, web presence,
etcConsulting on the application and supporting the users of our
equipment Answering customer requests concerning
applicationsHandling key projects as the application and technical
expertCreating training materials and carrying out product
trainings in cooperation with Product ManagerSuggesting product
improvements including; new development, enhancements, changes, and
product qualityPerforming standardizing activities including;
maintaining norms and assistance in standards committees in
coordination with Product Manager The position requires occasional
overnight travel both domestically and internationally. Skills and

decide between conflicting prioritiesEducation and Experience We
Need:The Product Specialist requires a combination of technical
education, business understanding and good communication skills.
This role requires the following:Master's Degree in Material
Sciences, Chemistry, Physics or related field 6-8 years of
experience in application developmentAnalytical and structured work
experience with a high level of initiative Strong presentation and
communication skills Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
in a fast-paced environmentPreferred skills include: Ph.D. in
Material Sciences, Chemistry, Physics or related field Experience
in application development for analytical instrumentation
Multi-lingual Supervision Exercised This role is an individual
contributor who participates in multiple projects and cross
functional teams and does not have direct supervisory
responsibilities. Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsWhile
performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly
required to sit, stand, walk, observe, communicate and handle items
such as computers, machinery and other equipment. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Position requires
the ability to obtain a Passport for international travel. In
regards to organizational issues, the employee will comply with the
regulations set forward in the Anton Paar Employee Handbook, except
