Job Description:

To provide the highest quality service to our members and associates, while maintaining the standards set forth by the Community Services management team for the inventory department. Assist the Inventory department with departmental inventory/supplies, providing organization, must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy which are essential in this environment. Work hard to promote the business and best interests of the Quail Ridge Community.

Essential functions

  • Timely and effectively process inter-departmental purchase requisitions
  • Timely and effectively process inter-departmental work orders
  • Shipping and receiving of merchandise and supplies
  • Stock and issue supplies and merchandise for various departments, including general maintenance and landscaping
  • Compile and maintain records of quantity, type and value of merchandise or supplies
  • Count merchandise or supplies and post totals to inventory records using computer
  • Prepare list of depleted items and recommend survey of defective or unusable items
  • Assist Inventory Supervisor with the effective procurement of merchandise or supplies
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment at all times
  • Report all maintenance issues to supervisor, immediately
  • Report all safety and security issues to supervisor, immediately
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with staff/members and vendors
  • Must possess good computer, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed computer records
  • Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and Jonas Software (or similar database program)
  • Must be high energy, service oriented and able to ensure that our members, vendors, and co-workers are treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism
  • Computer, calculator, adding machine, printer/copier and other basic office equipment experience required
  • Adhere to Quail Ridge dress and grooming standards
  • Proper use of all company equipment and vehicles
  • Adhere to all posted traffic signs and speed limits
  • Adhere to all Quail Ridge emergency procedures

Education and experience

  • High School diploma and/or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in Inventory Control/Data Entry environment required
  • Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Jonas Software (or similar database program) preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed computer records
  • Inventory experience required
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs for boxes/parcels/supplies. Proper lifting techniques required
  • Familiar with general maintenance parts/items/plumber items a plus for warehouse inventory
