Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, highly respected Florida litigation firm seeking a top-tier Medical Malpractice Paralegal . This opportunity is intended for an experienced professional who has handled complex, high-stakes medical malpractice matters and can operate with minimal oversight. This is not an entry- or mid-level role. The firm is prepared to offer top-of-market compensation for a candidate who brings depth, judgment, and proven med mal experience. Key Responsibilities Manage medical malpractice cases from pre-suit through trial and post-trial Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and litigation correspondence Review, organize, and analyze extensive medical records Coordinate experts, prepare expert disclosures, and manage deposition materials Prepare trial binders, exhibits, summaries, and timelines Handle discovery responses and e-discovery platforms Maintain litigation calendars and ensure all deadlines are met Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel Provide direct trial preparation and courtroom support Required Experience & Qualifications Substantial experience as a Medical Malpractice Paralegal (significant years required) Strong command of Florida medical malpractice litigation Proven experience managing complex discovery and expert-intensive cases Trial preparation experience is strongly preferred Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Compensation & Opportunity Competitive Compensation commensurate with experience Opportunity to work on high-profile, sophisticated medical malpractice matters Long-term role with a reputable, stable litigation team In office ( Coconut Grove location)
