Job Description:

Ventura Health & Rehabilitation Center -

As a Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply Coordinator, you are to administer the distribution and order any necessary equipment or items and prepare the other departments for success by making sure all inventory within the facility is adequate . Assist in preparing nursing department work schedule. You must have experience in Long Term Care. You must understand facility staffing needs required by census and PPD and State regulations.
Responsibilities:

Work directly with management to discuss consistent staffing levels
Prepare nursing department work schedules to meet corporate, state and federal staffing guidelines
Inventory and monitor central supply needs
Assist with ordering supplies
Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with facility and state labor requirements.


Create and monitor daily staffing (PPD) report and submit weekly reports to management


Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation
Finds appropriate available staff for last minute and emergency call-offs
Ensure there is sufficient nursing staff available for each shift.
Complete monthly schedule for all nursing staff.
Maintain and track employee absenteeism, vacation and sick days.


Perform other duties as required.

Requirements/Qualifications:

CNA License preferred
Completion of Level II Background Check
COVID Vaccinated or exemption form
Strong computer skills with ability to learn new programs
High school diploma or GED


Excellent communication and organization skills


Clerical or administrative experience a plus
Previous experience in Long Term Care Required


Basic computer program knowledge

Education: -High School Diploma/GEDExperience: -Entry Level (0-2 years)
