The Well-being Psychologist will serve in a manner which exemplifies the philosophy, mission and values of Baptist Health South Florida, acting as a psychotherapist, advocate-mediator and educator. The Well-being Psychologist is also responsible for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with staff, physicians and advanced practice providers of BHSF and organizations as sources of referrals for counseling. The Psychologist will be held accountable to the highest level of professional ethics and moral conduct as an employee of Baptist Health South Florida and related communities.
Estimated salary range for this position is $89769 - $116699.70 / year depending on experience.
Degrees: Doctorate Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Psychologist Additional Qualifications: Preferred candidate is a clinical psychology or a PsyD from an accredited university based doctoral program required. Five years of experience as a clinical psychologist required. Valid/current State of Florida Psychologist license. Ability to work in a fast paced, high change environment and to function independently, at multiple facility locations across the BHSF system. Comfort and ability to work with participants who have behavioral health concerns as well as medical concerns. Flexibility to provide therapy in a healthcare environment including acute care settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. proficient computer skills. strong interpersonal skills. ability to collaborate well with others. proven track record building relationships. ability to provide effective and efficient clinical and service excellence.
