A registered nurse with at least two years of Operating Room (OR) experience and pediatric OR background is needed for a contract role in North Fort Myers, FL. This position supports surgical services for both adult and pediatric patients, including ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery. Schedule: Wednesday: 10:30 AM 11:00 PM Thursday & Friday: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM Call required (discuss details with manager during interview) Call shifts include Evening Operating Shift (7 PM11 PM), Overnight (7 PM7 AM), and Backup Call (3 PM7 AM)approximately 4 calls per month. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical specialties. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Adhere strictly to hospital policy and clinical standards during all procedures. Participate in floating assignments within the facility and potentially to sister campuses as needed. Required Qualifications: Current RN license with degree accreditation documented or at least 5 years of clinical experience. Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience including pediatric cases. BLS certification mandatory; CNOR certification highly preferred. Prior travel nursing experience highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR systems, especially Epic. Willingness to comply with radius requirement (within 50 miles of permanent address) and submit complete demographic and licensure information upfront.
