Surgical Unit (Days) Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
delivers direct patient care under the guidance of Registered
Nurses (RNs) or other licensed healthcare professionals in a
medical-surgical environment. This role involves coordinating care
for patients who are either preparing for or recovering from
surgical procedures while ensuring the confidentiality and rights

with us! Utilizing the nursing process, the LPN provides patient
care under the supervision of individuals licensed by a State
regulatory board to prescribe treatments and medications, or under
the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN is accountable
for the quality of care provided to assigned patients and
collaborates with various departments to ensure comprehensive
patient care. Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of
information is a critical aspect of this role. Position Details:
The Surgical Service Line at our facility comprises several
specialized units, offering experience with diverse patient
populations and a wide range of diagnoses and care requirements.
These units cater to patients who are preparing for or recovering
from medical and surgical procedures. Whether you are a recent

Qualifications: Required Education: Completion of an accredited
practical nursing program. License: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current LPN license in the state where nursing duties
are performed, adhering to all State Board of Nursing regulations.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
