Job Description:
The Staff Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, utilizing the
nursing process within the Texas scope of practice.
Ensures care is patient- and family-centered, promoting continuity
and transition management.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN
preferred.
Must hold a current Texas RN license.
BLS certification is required before hire.
Advanced Specialty Courses (ASC) should be completed within 1 year
and maintained.
National certification in a specialty must be attempted within 3
years of orientation and kept current.
Practices in accordance with standards, policies, and
evidence-based guidelines to ensure quality patient care.
