worldwide.A Snapshot of What You'll Do: The Sr. Project Manager is
responsible for coordinating research and development projects,
leading and managing project teams, and adapting and integrating
the project management systems of Anton Paar QuantaTec to support
the development of analytical lab instrumentation. This role
supports the innovation, design and ultimate launch of new
analytical instrumentation that drives the advancement of
scientific research and innovation for global research teams and
organizations. You'll lead new product development projects through
all stages, from back of the napkin ideation to full
commercialization. As a Sr. Project Manager you'll be responsible
for:
- Managing the project process and ensuring the team utilizes the
tools necessary to timely and efficiently advance projects of the
highest level of quality.
- Serving as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams
and stakeholders, representing the tactical aspects of project
development.
- Actively leading by setting priorities, communicating
expectations, and fully advancing the team through coordination,
motivation, and leadership.
- Developing proficiency in modern Project Management
methodologies, employing best practices, and actively assessing the
best strategy to ensure a successful project. The Impact You'll
Make:The Sr. Project Manager is a self-starter who balances
multiple initiatives within defined timelines and manages
inter-company teams to ensure project completion.
- Developing project plans using MS Project and SAP software to
establish tasks and monitor performance metrics towards project
goals.
- Providing tactical guidance, risk assessments and technical
support to Product Management.
- Assembling teams to include engineers, scientists, business
stakeholders, operations, etc., and delegating tasks to most
appropriate employees.
- Serving as main point of contact for team to ensure team
actions remain in synergy.
- Working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to identify
potential risks and mitigate them; ensuring the project aligns with
the intended outcome.
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options
on how to move the project forward including adjusting schedules
and targets on the project as needed.
- Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on
time.
- Providing critical feedback for team members.
- Presenting regular status updates and reviews to stakeholders
to ensure alignment and buy in
- Identifying project risks and elevating critical issues to the
attention of executive team or steering board to ensure visibility
and obtain resources necessary for the project to overcome the
issue and succeed at meeting the desired deliverables.
- Integrating "quality through design" into the product
throughout the development process to maintain the expected
standards.
- Aligning and driving improvements to required processes and
systems of the Anton Paar development process.
- Actively interfacing with Engineers and Product managers to
ensure that product is fully defined, robustly designed and
thoroughly tested to ensure that Anton Paar standards for quality
and compliance are achieved.
- Adhering to corporate product development standards and
processes to ensure consistency and control within the development
process.
- May be required to travel to other Anton Paar facilities
domestically or internationally (

To See On Your Resume:The Project Manager typically requires a
combination of supervisory experience, education, training,
certifications, and skills. This role requires the following:
- BS in Engineering or related field, or equivalent years of
experience
- Direct Project Management experience managing technical
projects, with a focus on New Product Development preferred
- Demonstrated efficient work methods and ability to handle
multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively with both internal business functions and external
suppliers
- Entrepreneurial mindset that embraces critical questioning,
innovation, service and continuous improvement
- Ability to demonstrate project and product cost management
- Good theoretical understanding of mechanical and chemical
interactions
- Innate emphasis on high quality delivery standards
- Natural self-starter with a "hands-on" mentality
- Shows confidence and possesses good facilitation and
negotiation skills
- Curious and motivated learner Preferred skills include:
- MBA
- Experience in Requirements Management
- PMP certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higherSkills and Qualifications We Look

Supervision ExercisedThis role is an independent contributor who
will lead multiple project teams and does not have any direct
supervision of staff. Physical Requirements & Working
ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this position, the
employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, observe,
communicate and handle items such as computers, machinery and other
equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20
pounds. Position requires the ability to obtain a Passport for
